This is long, my bad. But I'm almost at my one year memory, and I just got a wave of nostalgia. I remember when I first started using this app. It was just this cute little platform I had to record all of my little memories. But I think the best part was that it was a cute little platform everyone has to record all of their little memories too. Scrolling through the public memories every day, I got to know people. I watched someone's entire relationship with someone named Lupe fold out. I caught up with the lives of someone who only knew people whose names started with K, and most of them had little memories too (which very often confused me, they tended to write about each other), I read about someone named Gram (looking back through my favorites, I suspect that all of those memories are actually interrelated, and all those people knew each other). Speaking of favorites I just noticed not all of them were saved correctly which is sad because there's some I specifically remember and they were nice :( I think one of the most incredible things that's happened was watching my best friend reach out a hand to someone. In January, a woman posted a suicide note. I saw it, but I didn't know what to do. I wish I could find it now but I felt bad for favoriting it. My best friend saw it too, and she wrote a note back and created a Tumblr account for the woman to message her on, if she ever saw it. Maddy ended up saving someone's life that night. And I know it's hard to prove that, but I believe she did. This place is special. The people who were posting a year ago haven't been posting as much anymore, but Kailey and Kendall, I remember you. I remember Lupe. I remember the woman in the Christmas sweater. You guys probably won't remember me. I'm the guy with Tourette's who met a Riley in a stationary store who stayed up late with Maddy to save a life who waited four years for a slow dance who constantly reminded one person and everyone else that they are some kind of wonderful and, well, yeah. I hope you guys are all doing okay. :) -B
