“Jesus would have had no purpose if you didn’t exist… he came -for us-“ / broke through the cakey crusty mass in my heart today. Imagine! Meeting friend for coffee and walking away a little happier, a little humbler, a little more at peace. / we spoke about the importance of distancing ourselves from social media and the value/experience of other drugs (as we sipped on our caffeine-blend dregs) // you showed me the densely harmonic song u wrote about being sure of a few things: we’re not meant to know everything. one day we will all be one kind. and we live, to die. / I showed you the richly harmonic Vienna Teng song sung in the voice of a hypothetical algorithm. The voice of the all-serving internet, catering to our every need…isn’t that what we wanted? / oh that gut sense of peace. dying isnt just the physical end of your life. It is the letting go of the mad dash for comforts that we are racing for in the here and now. Might be important to remember that people don’t die while they are fighting, ever. It’s in the stillness that follows the blow, the release of willpower, expectation. the embracing of sheer unknown. In that is life. What death is all about.
