Today I didn't grab my lunch. In the rush of morning minutes, unfinished research, and five-minute grilled cheese, I waved off my mom, who held out two granola bars. My reason to deny was that they were packed with sugar and not the healthiness they advocate. Now I'm standing outside, stomach stinging from emptiness. I suppose this was the consequence of my foolishness and insolence. Perhaps it is so. It is enjoyable though, standing here with Disclosure in my ears. The entire sky is gray and almost blue. The clouds and winds are moving surprisingly quickly, and it's quite pleasant. The trees are stripped bare of their leaves, and some red dots their limbs.
