Feeling inadequate in my school environment. Why are some people so likeable? Why is it so easy to approach them? Why doesn't anyone approach me? I will make an effort to talk to you. But you don't. And somehow no one does. And my social environment made me that one person that others should avoid conversing with. I can't change that. I can't start 'getting out of my comfort zone' and 'start' talking to people. How? When all these years I've become practically expertised in being 'antisocial', isolated and unapproachable. It's bitter to think starting over as the 'new kid' can change the societal mentality people place on you over the years of 'knowing' you. But it never works. You can't suddenly portray an open, friendly exterior to others. Well, that's my perspective. Perhaps some of you have had the fortune to make that change. Nevertheless. I am finishing school tomorrow. And I shall forever cling onto the childish dream of mine that change will 'change' everything.
