To the one who responded to my midnight lament (“I don’t know what to do with myself.”) — thank you so, so much. I am learning to be reckless within my own restraint, to be as open as I am. Thank you for your words. I think after that day I started to accept the fact that finding one’s group isn’t as coincidental or natural or quick or convenient as it often seems, and I am trying to find a balance between solitude and the company of people whose presence I truly enjoy. / Today marked a new point in my college life, I suppose. I walked barefoot back to the dorms, laughing and honestly not giving too much of a damn. Getting into the groove of things, and being alone is still ok & how I am most days. Maybe I should be more forward and more initiating. Maybe I will talk to him because I didn’t get to last time. / Thank you, responder, thank you so much. Thank you.
