I felt like I was going mad so I started researching and reading studies and blog posts on long distance relationships and apparently these feelings (and amount of tears) are normal.. the main advice I found was to communicate them. I guess it is sort of a duh, but I do need to tell you that I feel scared sharing just how much I've been struggling. It's hard to tell you just how much I love you sometimes. I think we both know we love each other very much, the scary part is that this love was born quickly and without spending a lot of time living in proximity to each other. The love is there, but trust and security are just things that come with time. I'm not saying I don't trust you, it's that my own insecurities get the better of me sometimes and I worry about going through all this pain of wanting to be together then things not working out if we wind up not "liking" each other once we are. These are the things that I think are always swimming in the back of my mind and it's only fair for me to share them with you. I know it's a lot, but if I don't- I feel like they would come out in some kind of a defensive or grouchy way. And I don't want to do that to you or to me. I want to be vulnerable with you and challenge myself to say whats really in the deepest part of my heart.
