We came to do our laundry after a big fight about something small and stupid. Again. You’re sitting in the car, I’m brooding on a bench in the place listening to kids laugh and play. And I can’t help but think... I just want to be as happy as the couple walking into the laundromat hand in hand in their pajamas with huge smiles on their faces and clearly not a care in the world because they didn’t even bother to get fully dressed to be out in public. They have each other. Perhaps that is enough.
