It was Her birthday today. We went out to Olive Garden with her friend and business partner Anna. I managed to make my way through some sort of seafood and large flat noodle [pappardelle] dish and a salad with a knife/fork/spoon. The salad dropped off the fork and I had to get the clam meat out of the open shells with a fork. It was not pretty. I should have taken along a pair of chopsticks. With chopsticks, I could have breezed through those clams; instead, I had major agony dealing with the shells. Dirty little secret: chopsticks are like eating with your fingers, only neater and cleaner.
