Meanwhile on the other side of the world and on an entirely, utterly different continent: the writer of this memory misses her people in another country dearly. People are much like books, in a peculiar way - life with them is vibrant yet when you put them down, there's a strange sense of bittersweet nostalgia. Truthfully, I don't even know if I'll see them again - and if I see them again, if we can reconcile seamlessly - but that's okay.
