Today I had an appointment with the doctors at the Veterans Outpatient facility for a follow-up from my experience of going to West Hills Hospital ER on January 2nd, 2016. Today is the 28th and the staff decided I have another EKG done to view & document my health progress. If there is an anomaly with my heart the staff said they would contact me for more tests. It was a day of reality thinking of my personal health and it's current condition. My family history tells me there is a reason to be concerned. Grandfather had 4 open heart surgeries, first one at age 30 and my grandmother & mother had C.O.P.D (lung disease) and my aunt had cancer. All have passed away. I am 40 years old and already have shortness of breath, over weight, my consumption of foods are not absolutely the best decisions with the given varieties offered, and I do not do any type physical activities. I need to adjust how I am existing or I will end up like my relatives-dead! 😰
