I just watched "eat pray love". Such a nice movie. I want to read the book now. It also made me want to travel to Bali. I've added it to my vision board. So it has 3 things now: get a job, buy a Macbook, go to Bali. Hopefully, in a year's time, I accomplish at least one of these.
There is this beautiful story in this movie where a person prays everyday under the statue of a saint saying "Oh Saint, please, please, please let me win the lottery today." After this continues for too long, the statue comes to life and says, "Oh son, please, please, please buy a ticket."
I sometimes feel like I haven't done enough to expect a good future, like good grades or a job. When I feel like this, I will make it a point to ask myself if I have bought the ticket. If the answer turns out to be no, I will work harder. If it is yes, I will leave the rest to the saint and continue the day with my head held high.
