Dear person who wrote “Father my pain is so vast...” God is nearer than we think. Even if we don’t feel him, even if we feel abandoned and lost and alone and broken, drowning in the darkness, he is there, saying, “dear, why do you fret? Don’t you know, this pain will help you prosper. This hurt will help you heal. This darkness will bring you closer to the Divine, because, in the end, I am in control of all. You will be okay, I promise. It’s all under control, even if it doesn’t feel like it. I am protecting you. I love you and I care about you. I am here. I will turn your madness into miracles. I promise.” Even though it takes time, you will feel him in your heart again. You will feel joy and peace again. You will see his blessings in your life again. God lives in you, you don’t need to fear the darkness, for the darkness is afraid of your light. And even when you can’t control your mind, your racing thoughts, your doubts or your anxieties, he is near. He will never leave you. Remember that. Remember the truth: (even if it doesn’t feel like it...) God loves you, he would (and does) go to the ends of the earth to protect you, he is bigger than anything you are facing, he is going to help you get through this, doubts (however truthful they may feel) lie, God lives in your heart and is always protecting you, he already has it all planned out, and he’s got you, I promise.
