It has snowed about 12" or so here. It disappoints me a little that there was a "battle" at our university about a delay until noon or closing. Ultimately they closed but I don't like that it was even in question to have students and staff drive in this weather. I completely understand that there are many ramifications, including financial, to closing school (let alone two days in a row!) but at the end of the day we maybe have one snow day at the university a year and shouldn't the safety of our students be priority?
