Well what a fantastic weekend we’ve just had in Iceland. A stunning country with fantastic scenery. Every excursion was spectacular, the tour guide were brilliant, the coaches, the journey where all awesome. The golden circle waterfall, geysers, and the National Park was great. We saw the Northern lights within 20 mins of our arrival. The night sky was a light with beautiful colours of glistening reflections from the sun rays on the ice cap. It was a long day from 0200 to 0130, yes 24 hrs awake to see this natural phenomenon. It was well worth it. Too cap our weekend we went in a trip to the Icelandic Southern Coast to see the volcanic and glacier regions next to the ocean. The weather was forever changing and the scenery was spectacular. So much to see in one day. Anyway the bucket list was truly smash when we drove a snowmobile in top of a glacier. It took us around 45 minutes to an hour to get to the summit. We had limited vision because the snow can in. But this added to our amazing trip. We stopped at the top to play in the snow. Overall we had the most amazing weekend for our 22nd wedding anniversary in Iceland a truly magical part of the world
