Two thoughts: 1) Does he like me? Should I care? 2) I’m nervous about moving in with them. They were surprised when I said I’d be paying my own rent, as their parents still bankroll their lifestyles. They talk about money like they’re playing monopoly, something to add intrigue but nothing of import.
