Today was a dark day. I woke up at 4am this morning and saw that Leave was leading in the polls. At six it was confirmed they had won. I then spent the next two and a half hours reading articles, talking to Bethan and Aleksandra. At school Miss Benger told us she cried. We're all scared. The white, old facist prideful xenophobes have triumphed over the educated and those more socially and politically conscious. It was all anyone was talking about. I've been through periods of shock, anger, hopelessness, dismay; I've literally picked an Internet fight for the first time in my life over this. there is so little hope. the pound has fallen. stock markets plummeted. Companies are already thinking of pulling out. The EU is likely to turn nasty you can tell. I'm so scared. Never in my life has my future felt so bleak.
