I'm doing a bit better today. Writing in a journal has been helping me. My friends have also been visiting and trying to keep me busy. Well, today I'm going to write about date number 2 with Mike. I'm convinced this is when he won me over. Ever since the first date we chatted online. I was very hesitant to go on another date. So we just kept talking. He was very stubborn and one point was like," When are we going to do something again..." or it was like," Well, yah but you'll just have to see me first before we work on a project together." So I did.

I planned this date. We were going to meet at Eden's Burgers. I wanted to impress him. I just wore a nice jeans outfit. He arrived taking an Uber taxi to the restaurant. As usual, he looked very sharp. I already ordered us some food that was highly recommended. Bratwurst nachos! So good! We had drinks and beer/cider and it was lovely again. We continued the date by going to a movie. We saw the Monuments Men. I had fun and you could tell he did too. I dropped him off his house. I was weirded out that I only got a hug. So for while after I teased him about not knowing what he kissed like. So we had to plan our next date.
